Ljiljan

Ljiljan was founded in 1990, immediately before the first post-Communist elections in Bosnia-Hercegovina. It was a paper of the SDA [Stranka Demokratske Akcije, Democratic Action Party], the main party representing Muslims in Bosnia-Hercegovina. It was originally named Muslimanski Glas [Muslim Voice], to be later renamed and turned into an independent weekly. However, its editorial line still closely follows the SDA's policy. The new Ljiljan's official site offers a selection of articles from the printed edition (in Bosnian). The editorial board can be reached at ljiljan@bih.net.ba or nljiljan@aol.com.
