Two nights ago, big groups of Shqiptar terrorists from Drenica carried out an organized and coordinated attacks from all sorts of infantry weapons on the villages of Banje and Suvo Grlo, populated by Serb folk and the Police station in Rudnik above Srbica. Serbs and the Police responded to the attack and there were no victims nor wounded among them.
The attacks started at 7 p.m.. Numerous Shqiptar terrorist gangs fell on the villages from the surrounding forests and opened fire from machine guns and mortars. However, the Serbs in Banje and Suvo Grlo were prepared for an attack. They have organized themselves months ago and set up sentries around the villages.
The terrorist planned to by surprise and by using their advantage in numbers finally conquer these two villages which have been their target for a long time; however, their plan failed. For more than two hours the terrorists pushed from all sides but the defenders' ramparts didn't give in. The Serb defense was unscathed apart from damaged houses in the villages, and the Shqiptar terrorists had to withdraw. Nothing is known about possible casualties on their side.
The situation around the Police station in Rudnik was similar. This time the terrorists obviously had two goals. To provide logistic and armed support those who were attacking Serb villages and to prevent the police from Rudnik to come to aid of Serb villagers. The Police immediately responded to the attack and after a long fire fights with the terrorists there were no wounded among the policemen. There is no information about how the terrorists fared.
This abominable attack is another proof, says the reaction of the Provincial Socialist Party of Serbia organization for Kosovo-Mitrovica county, that the Shqiptar terrorists have decided to loot the property, murder and expel Serbs and Montenegrins from their centuries old hearths. Because of that, the Socialists appeal that the Serbian state use all available means to suppress terrorist gangs and protect the citizens and policemen.
The county organization of SPS warns that Serbs and Montenegrins are forced to self organize for the defense of their children, property and integrity of Serbia. We demand decisively that state bodies provide them with weapons and organize them for defense, with a warning that any delay and hesitation can have unforeseeable consequences for peace, security and integrity of Serbia.
